Scholarship Information

The National Association of Hispanic Nurses-Michigan Chapter Scholarship deadline is fast approaching. Information is available on the Michigan Hispanic Nurses Association website.

The Michigan League for Nursing/MCNEA/MACN offers several $1,000 scholarships Information is available on the Michigan League for Nursing's website.

Johnson & Johnson's Discover Nursing website www.discovernursing.com has a Scholarship Search feature.

The American Association of Colleges Nursing (AACN)/CampusRN Scholarship Center, http://aacn.campusrn.com/scholarships/scholarships.asp focuses on financial aid for nursing students. They offer a $2,500 nursing scholarship to a deserving student every 60 days. In order to assist worthy applicants who are not selected, they have also expanded their online database which lists hundreds of grants and scholarship opportunities.

The Mary Free Bed Guild of Grand Rapids offers two annual scholarships (up to $17,500 each) for minority students pursuing degrees in nursing and rehabilitation therapy programs. Information is available on the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital's website.

Providence Hospital Nurses Alumnae Association Scholarship
The Providence Hospital Nurses Alumnae Association Scholarship has two Scholarships that are given annually. The Sybil Cunningham Bredin Scholarship and the Regina Chilinski Tomko Scholarship. The deadline for scholarship application is May first of each year and scholarships are awarded in September and January.

The American Assembly for Men in Nursing (AAMN) Foundation and Johnson & Johnson's Campaign for Nursing's Future have partnered to offer this new $1,000 scholarship program for male students pursuing professional nursing education programs. Here is the link - AAMN Scholarship

The Michigan Nurses Foundation Scholarship recipients receive a $500 scholarship toward their education. The 2008 Information will be available soon. Information is available on the Michigan Nurses Foundation website.

The National Student Nurses Association website has scholarship information available on the NSNA website.
